The Fox Restaurant & Brewery

The food was okay, burgers were over cooked and the fried food was cooked in old oil? I've had better service too. The outdoor patio was nice but not enough to bring me back.

When on my way back from Tahoe I was looking for a pet friendly restaurant did a random google search found the fox reviews were decent decided to try it. Our server Lindsey was exceptional very attentive we got sat without problem while we had our pitbull. The manager Melanie was the one who served us our plates love seeing a manager who helps the team out instead barking orders. You guys absolutely rock thank you so much for the delicious food and terrific experience. Will definitely be back!

4.3 is a joke...easy 5! Alex seated us and gave us some beer highlights as well as brought them to us. The recommendations were spot on! I had the Kings Fall Pilsner and my brother had the Hop Tahoe IPA. Jocelyn was our server and she had some highlights of her own. Not to mention the great smile. I got the chicken pot pie and it is ridiculous. Piping hot and full of flavor...not to mention the flaky crust was perfect. I had to slow down just to write the review. Then the spicy hot wings with Josefina's special spices...that's going to hurt tomorrow! Enjoy the beer AND food! I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks ladies!

The best place in Carson city!! Staff is fabulous! The food was amazing! Jordan our server was so nice and attentive. We had a great conversation with Melody. She was so sweet and down to earth. Made us feel like we’ve know her for years. Chocolate Cherry Stout, fish n chips

Dined n for lunch on 3/29. Wonderful pub in downtown Carson City by the Capitol building. Nice decor with a few TVs on for sports. Extensive menu and full bar. The squeeze and I split the beef dip. We added the garlic fries. The sandwich seemed kind of small for the money, but it was loaded with very tender beef. Dunked that in the jus, magnifique! She had a Hop Tahoe and I did the Seamus Red. Both were quite good brews. Great service too! Sierra did an outstanding job, loved her sense of humor. If I lived here, I'd be a regular.

Came here with my husband and dog for a lunch date and we had the best time! Food was amazing! Quick to come out, everyone was smiling and super friendly! I would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Born in Reno (1965), Carson City has been a huge part of my life. Passing by the wonderful historic St. Charles and, until recently, not stopping in to the Fox has been my mistake. They have completely honored the history with period (1862) wall coverings and news articles. The dark solid wood of the dining area and the elaborate mirrored bar harken back to the finest establishments of the Comstock era . Jocelyn and Emily accommodated our group of 8 bikers with enthusiasm and amazing service. Chef put out delicious well priced burgers, salads, sandwiches and fish and chips. Amazing!

Great brewpub, with awesome food and beer. Great vibe cool location and would highly recommend for a stop if your in Carson.
